Still coming to terms with the death of his mother, thirteen-year-old James seeks solace in an abandoned house, but his life changes dramatically when he discovers a homeless man hiding there. Together they set out on a journey to find a 'cure' for a dark curse inflicted on the man, and what they discover will impact them both in ways they never imagined.
